Kyle Field is the artist behind the band Little Wings.
Field was born in Alabama, the son of a college football coach, but his family quickly moved to California where he grew up to love surfing.

Field contributed bass and vocals in the band Rodriguez with M. Ward and Mike Funk.
In the late 1990s, Field formed the band Little Wings, of which he is the only permanent member. The band released several albums through K Records, including Light Green Leaves and Magic Wand.
Field has played with a number of bands, including The Microphones/Mount Eerie, YACHT, Bobby Birdman, Lee Baggett and Be Gulls.
Field is also an acclaimed visual artist. His first book of drawings was released on the label Ahornfelder.
Kyle Field lives near San Francisco, California.
